Why are some Charlottes "defective"?

I've been pondering the nature of the House, and one of the questions I've been asking (to myself ;-;) is: if the House world is as real as ours, then how is it that every twentieth Charlotte is defective? What does this defective even mean?

To answer this question, I turned to existing defective models — V19 and Q84. Despite their differences, they share something in common: they both see the world differently. They perceive NPC differently, they perceived behavioral norms differently, they perceive their role as "Charlottes" differently. All this made me wonder — could "differences" Charlottes be analogous to autism?

Charles has autism (yes, his official diagnosis is Asperg's Syndrome, but the term is no longer relevant, so it's autism), and as we see in the game, all of his mental distortions translate into House nature: his obsession with cleanliness manifests itself in two ways — Q84's obsession with white and Vincent's obsession with everything dirty in the second game. Perhaps, in the same way, House reflects Charles's autism? His disconnect from society, his "differences" nature, his dislike of others.

I'm not a psychologist or a psychiatrist, I don't have a professional education, but... That's my theory. What do you think about it?
