Josephine was sitting on a bench at the park just across the apartment complex, the light of a near street pole allowing her to watch the movement around the place, one of her arms was proped on the backrest and the other lay on her lap, a cigarette tugged between her fingers. This, maybe, was one of the very few things she have come to like about this town, enjoying the almost quietness of the night. Someone walked past her and as Jo took a drag, she saw how something fell behind the person; whistling, she called their attention. “Dude, you just dropped something!”
