style goals. Kitae and Jaehoon~

Kitae wasn't someone who battled. He didnt like the idea of throwing his beautiful Pokemon out to just go get beaten up- or for the purpose of beating up another beautiful Pokemon. The creatures were just too precious for him to ever want to harm his or anybody else’s in any way. For that reason, he really didn't have a reason to visit the Pokemon Center. But- he heard through one of his group chats that one of the stores in the Pokemon centers were having a huge berry sale for the Holidays. As an avid poffin and pokeblock maker, there was no way the Coordinator was going to miss this sale for anything.

Kitae loaded up on his bags of berries, swatting at Hoopa to stay out of sneaking more then one out from the bags. Maybe one of the Nurses had a larger bag or something along the lines to help him out- rather then just carrying all of these paper bags that Hoopa would glady eat out of the moment Kitae looked away. He approached the counter, looking around for a nurse that wasn't busy- until he spotted one that stood out completely. He blinked in amazement at the male nurse, taking in his outfit and completely falling in love with it. It was just such a sight, a cute one at that. “Mr.Nurse I just have to tell you- you look so god damn adorable.”

♦ striking resemblance

“wait outside”, haneul quietly tells cerberus before he enters the pokémon center. the three houndoom nod and sit, out of the way of the passersby but close enough to the glass pane that they can see both haneul and zoroark walk inside the center.

haneul still thinks it’s a bit too much, especially now that he’s a full adult with a job completely unrelated to the family’s business. no one ever tried coming for him, after all, and he still has no reason to think anyone should.

it’s warm inside the center, so he removes his scarf and gestures for zoroark to let him remove his matching pink one, folding both over his arm before they make it to the front desk.

(he knows the scarf is a bit overkill, considering zoroark’s already clad in a very pretty pink turtleneck, but haneul thinks it’s better to be safe than sorry; they’re there for a quick checkup, anyway)

“good afternoon”, he tells the man at the front desk, “we’d like to-- oh goodness.”

he stops mid-sentence, a little dumbstruck but mostly very, very fascinated by the attendant in front of him. he looked gruff, a little rough on the edges, his forced smile showing off sharp teeth. his dark demeanor contrasted, overall, with his very pink uniform.

haneul smiles, eyes sparkling with mischief. “you look--you look just like my zoroark”, he coos. “this has to be the cutest thing i’ve ever seen.”

zoroark knits his eyebrows together in confusion at haneul, as if asking why are you bothering this young man for, but all haneul does is let out a giggle at his own comment, still looking at the attendant like he’s something precious to be watched.

within rue’s step lies a certain flair. it is moulded into the curve of her posture, sketched into the lines of her slim calves. and when her feet kiss the floor, it is sure to leave its surface with grace radiating outwards like a beacon of light, in which her tread is the ivory tower atop a lonely hill.

it is said that within the pageant queen’s elegance lies a secret, and its secret is this: puppet strings.

oh, these thin strings seem to have come from the gods themselves, for none can tell from whence they have appeared, simply that its endings are tied around her dainty fingers in a pretty bow. there are some conjectures, though, and perhaps if you listened close to the whispers that blanket the crowd, you’d be able to discern that its mythical beginnings may be hidden somewhere in mother’s cruel grasp.

so here she walks in front of her booth, with elegance etched into her every step even as she paces.

( three steps forth, three steps back. )

bottom lip curves in as her childhood habit of lip biting makes itself known, but it is always interrupted. a pause, the gritting of teeth, and here, her lips slide into an attractive pout.

( see? everything about rue is practised. synthetic. )

but i digress; today’s jitters are brought about by one park jaehoon, a man she has learnt to call friend. it takes her three minutes, and three more before she slips her phone from the back of her jeans pocket. the time that greets her invites a frown on her pretty features, and there is a falter in elegance as she slams her manicured nails against the phone’s glowing screen.

oh, but this falter lasts only but a moment, and it ends once she slides her phone back into her pocket.

( a pause, the gritting of teeth, and here, feet slips back into its elegant tread. )
