Felicity hated the full moon. She hated turning, she hated that the reason she became this was because she was the cause of someones death. What she hated most of all was that she was hiding it from everyone, including Kai. How she had managed to keep it from him for six months was beyond her. She knew that soon she’d have to tell him. After all, she was going to be moving in with him soon. She couldn’t, though, not tonight. So when he asked her out she came up with an excuse about having suddenly come down with sickness and made her way to the area of the woods she felt safest for her transformation and waited.

Felicity loved having a job on such a beautiful campus. She loved to be able to take her breaks outside and just be able to sit and read. Now was one of those times. It was her lunch break and she was outside on a bench, her book open on her lap, but she couldn’t focus on the words. The one year anniversary of her trigger was coming up, which also meant the one year anniversary of her first turn. She was completely zoned out, thinking about her life over the past year and how she had managed to keep everything a secret for so long.
