Texas- Sikh Officer Murdered, Community Devastated
Texas- Sikh Officer Murdered, Community Devastated
Cypress, Texas – Sandeep Dhaliwal, 42, was a 10 year veteran of the Harris County Sheriff’s Department in Texas. He was their first Sikh officer. On Friday, a suspect shot him in the back of the head three times. He passed away from his injuries. (Houston Chronicle).

Tonight my hometown is in mourning.
I remember ten years ago, when a Harris County detention officer decided to become a deputy - and he wanted to wear his turban and grow a beard. It took some fighting, but his devotion to being a Sikh won out. He proudly sported the marks of his faith while in uniform. HCSO supported him.
In 2017, I was supposed to go to Houston with my disaster relief team to help my city recover; I was still in outpatient rehab and off the roster. A few days after my team left, one of my friends put me in contact with Sandeep Dhariwal to help get badly-needed supplies to local first responders who were working despite their own homes being underwater. It wasn’t much, but I was happy to help. It was his pet project, something nobody else reached out to do. He was a deeply devoted responder and his love for his community was very evident.
Today, as he walked back to his cruiser during a traffic stop, the driver shot him in the back. Sandeep was taken to Memorial Hermann where he was pronounced dead.
The people of Houston knew who Sandeep was and loved him. He built a bridge that few others could. The world is a lesser place without him.
May his memory forever be a blessing.

When the Shadows Won’t Let Go: Living with Relentless Digital Harassment
In today’s connected world, privacy feels increasingly like a luxury. For some of us, it has become a distant memory.
What starts as a single breach — a suspicious login, a strange message, or unexplained activity on your accounts — can quickly spiral into something far more sinister. Hackers today are relentless. They don’t stop at stealing data. They weaponize it: spoofing messages, manipulating photos and videos, tracking movements, and turning your own digital life against you. They adapt faster than security measures can catch up, finding new ways to invade your space even after you’ve changed passwords, devices, and routines.
The psychological toll is exhausting. Nights spent refreshing accounts, wondering who is watching, who is twisting your words or image. The isolation grows as colleagues, friends, and community members receive fabricated stories or threats. You report it — to platforms, to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, to local law enforcement like the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office — and still, the attacks persist. Each plea for help meets bureaucratic delays while the harassment evolves.
If you’re reading this and you’ve experienced something similar, you are not alone. The feeling of helplessness is real, but so is the power of community awareness.
I’m asking for your support. Not for speculation or drama, but for practical help: sharing resources on digital security, recommending experienced cybercrime attorneys or victim advocates in the Tampa Bay area, or simply amplifying calls for better enforcement and faster responses to these invisible crimes. If you’ve successfully navigated prolonged hacking or stalking situations, your stories and advice could make a difference.
To anyone facing this: Document everything meticulously — dates, screenshots (with metadata), reports filed. Reach out to professionals. Change what you can control and protect your mental health fiercely.
Rachel and Andrew may be relentless, but so are we when we stand together and demand better protections.
Stay safe out there. If this resonates, feel free to share your general experiences in the comments. Awareness is the first step toward change.
Everyone, please know Rachel has posted images online of Haley, which we will post screenshots of and now we’re receiving weird spam with Haley‘s name as well not a coincidence. Please help they continue to escalate.
A Breaking Point in Tampa I Never Thought I’d Reach
I never imagined I’d be writing something like this about Rachel Maria (RMI)—especially here, in a community I once felt safe calling home.
What started as a relationship built on trust slowly unraveled into something I still struggle to fully process. Over time, I began uncovering pieces of a hidden reality that I never consented to, never agreed to, and never even knew existed. The deeper I looked, the more it felt like my privacy—and my life—was being pulled out from under me.
While I was away on business, working to provide and support my family, things were happening behind the scenes that I cannot unsee. That realization alone has been enough to break me.
But the worst part wasn’t just the betrayal—it was what came after.
Private, deeply personal moments began surfacing online without my consent. The kind of exposure that leaves you feeling stripped of dignity, control, and safety. It’s not just about embarrassment—it’s about violation. About having pieces of your life taken and used against you.
And it hasn’t stopped there.
This situation has followed me across Tampa—starting in the Italian Country area off Baypoint Drive, then to Town ‘n’ Country at 6309 Newtown Circle (Unit B2), and even beyond. Each move was supposed to be a fresh start, but instead, the fear came with me. It no longer feels like coincidence—it feels targeted.
There have been nights filled with uncertainty. People showing up at all hours. The feeling of being watched. Being followed. Moments where I genuinely questioned my safety. No one should feel that way in their own home—or their own neighborhood.
What hurts even more is the impact on my family.
My father is battling cancer. My mother is living with dementia.
They should be surrounded by peace, stability, and care. Instead, they’ve been exposed to stress and fear that no family should have to endure—especially not in their later years. Watching them affected by something they don’t fully understand has been one of the hardest parts of all of this.
It reached a point where I made a decision I never thought I would have to make:
I left the country—just to feel safe.
No one should ever feel forced to run from their own life just to escape fear
Why I’m Sharing This
I’m not writing this for sympathy.
I’m writing this because I need help. Because I don’t have all the answers.
Because this has gone beyond something I can handle alone.
Tampa, I Need Your Support
To the people of Tampa and Town ‘n’ Country:
If you’ve experienced harassment, stalking, or online exposure like this—how did you deal with it?
If you know legal resources, attorneys, or local authorities who take this seriously—please share them
If you’ve gone through something similar and found a way forward—I need your guidance
Even just sharing this, pointing me in the right direction, or offering support means more than you know.
Final Thoughts
I never thought something like this could happen to me. I never thought I’d feel unsafe in places I once called home.
But here I am—trying to rebuild, protect my family, and find a way forward.
If you’ve read this far, thank you. If you can help in any way, I would be incredibly grateful.
Because right now, I’m just trying to find a way back to feeling safe again. For now on every picture, every video, every web post celebrating her behavior will be posted here for reference. Andrew Broughton has threatened my life multiple times now. Tampa HCSO FBI please help.

Hurdy Gurdy ish?
This is my attempt at a Symphonie hurdy gurdy, having made a test piece with one string and a small wheel this is the next iteration, having most of the relevant parts, that is chromatic key box and drones. There is no buzzing bridge and since the melody string is not very loud only one of the drones is engaged. I also need to practise.
Note the video sound is quiet due to my camera microphone not due to the volume of the instrument which is loud enough to annoy the neighbours, were I inclined.
I have experimented with various types of fishing line and guitar strings to no good end. Most people seem to make use of viola and cello strings which are really quite expensive when just experimenting. I did in the end capitulate and bought a piece of gut string for the melody string for a price that would have put a new set on my 12 string guitar.
There is a term used on the hurdy gurdy reddit that is HGSO, it is derogatory, it stands for Hurdy Gurdy Shaped Object. Something that looks like but doesn’t play or sound like a hurdy gurdy.
If I am honest then this is an HGSO, it sounds as rough as a bear’s backside, but it does play and for a first real try it has been a valuable if somewhat steep learning exercise. If I make another, and I will, then I have things to consider: -
Even for a Symphonie this is quite small.
The drones run under the sound board and are difficult to get at, getting them above the sound board means, either or both, raising the key box or lowering the sound board, both of which have sequalae.
The key box is not square.
The tangents are bits of wire and are not adjustable.
There is only one melody string, even Symphonies frequently have two.
The drone strings are nylon fishing line.
There is no buzzing bridge.
Ah well, back to the drawing board!
