After spending his his day laid in his bed, he knew that he had to make a private video diary, it was one of the promises he had made to hideaway when he had first moved into the condos. So he sat up and took another spoonful of cough medicine, a aspirin, and washed it down with orange juice. Probably not the best combination of flavors he thought as he gagged slightly feeling it sink down his throat but at least it might help subdue his could until he could head back to bed. Standing up he pulled on a pair of lose joggers and a large black t-shirt, before finishing of the whole outfit with a black hoodie. Even though it was hot in his condo, Tyler couldn’t fight the feeling of wind that was hitting his skin. He pulled on a pair of trainers, and patted Dylan’s head, “Stay here girl, I won’t be to long,” he explained as he began to leave the room. Tyler made his way though tot he private recording room, before he grabbed a throat soother and popped it in his mouth, as he opened the door.
1. Do you prefer fake or real Christmas trees, why?
Tyler looked at the first question and coughed as he laughed. “When I was a kid we always had fake trees.” he explained, placing his heavy head on his hands but still looking at thew camera. “I suppose my mom didn’t real feel like cleaning up the pines everyday, or you know watering it.” He said before an thought sprung to the front of his mind. “Did you know any people die every year because they try to water there Christmas tree with the lights on,” Tyler ,laughed hoarsely., “You’ll have to excuse me being on deaths door,” he joked. “Any way back to the question,” he knew he’d gone of on a tangent. “I only started getting real ones when I moved out, I don’t really mind collecting the pine needles, as I just sort of push them behind the tree and then collect them all after Christmas, but unfortunately to Dylan’s natural enemy being Christmas trees, this year I’ve had to go for a fake small one, because I don’t want a broken tree or a broken dog,” with a grin he finished his sentence with, “So yes I prefer real ones such more authentic.” he smiled.
2. What is the best and worst thing about the holiday season?
He tapped his chin as he read the second question not totally sure how to answer this one, “I suppose the best thing is seeing my family, my siblings are super hard to get a hold of so having everyone in the one room for more than three hours is great. Because at the end of the day, that’s what Christmas is for spending time with the people you love.” He said, his mind wandering to happy memories of his family all sat around the dinner table, paper hats, crappy jokes, and a bucket load of food. “It’s a day for love and I feel I get a descent amount,” he admitted a coy smile forming on his lips. The worst thing he thought tot himself, he had already complained about this a free days earlier, so he admitted this one quickly, “How rude people get top service people, there is no need, when people are only trying to do there job, you shouting and screaming at them isn’t going to make it any faster. “He shook his head before continuing, “Unfortunately nowadays people seem so preoccupied with getting gifts they forget that the holiday is about love and sharing, it’s kind of disappointing” he said.
3. What is one holiday tradition you do with your family and/or friends every year?
“See every single year when me and my siblings were little, my mom would always spend all day slaving away in the kitchen, with no real help and we didn’t realize how much she did for us,” he admitted kind of disappointed with himself he’d just been a kid but still. “So a couple of years ago me and my siblings got together and decided that we were gonna suppose her every year, by cooking the dinner, she was really surprised and thankful the first years,” he smiled at the fond memories. “We always also decorate the tree together, and the house. But this year she broke that tradition, and was totally heartbroken,” To emphasize his joke he pretended to garb his heart. “Na I’m joking she doesn’t really have anyone around any more so I think she was glad to do it herself,” he explained. “SO the only tradition we’ve had though out all of these years that every Christmas we play board game sin our pj’s, if you’ve ever found a better way to break up a family let me know cause things get real fast.” he explained. “Then we snuggle up to watch a Christmas movie with chocolate, it’s really nice not having to care about anything but the people there for a while. “he grinned.
4. If you were offered a million dollars to donate to the charity of your choice; which charity would receive it?
“In 2012 I worked with the anti bullying campaign, stomp out bully, which I am not a global ambassador for.” he admitted. “I kinda feel that this cause is super close to y heart as I was bullied as I grew up, and I know how much it can crush you externally and internally,” he explained. “The fact is I am at a point of privilege in my life, and I don’t have to experience these kinds of things anymore, but there are so many people who do,, and it is awful. So I want to use my fame for good, to spread the message that bullying is not okay, and not only that but it is okay to ask for help. When I was a kid that was the hardest thing for me to do, to ask for help. It got to point where even though I had been so sure of myself in the past, I lost all of these feelings, constantly being feed false information about yourself, it lead me to feel like I wanted to kill myself, I didn't want to go to school I didn’t even want to leave the house, but with the help of friends and family, I realized it wasn’t my fault.” he said not sure why he was going into so much detail. “When I went to rally in Washington for anti bullying, I heard stories from parents who’s kids had killed there selves because of bullying, and I just think that is not okay, who has the right to push someone to the point of suicide because they feel that they can, so if had the money I would give it to them. Because it’s a cause so close to my heart. “He finished his tangent and lent back coughing once again
5. If you had to give one person at Hideaway honest advice; Who would you give it to? What would it be?
Tyler squinted at the last question and thought a bit, “I’m not totally sure, there are a lot of people I’d want to give advice to for many different reasons” he admitted shrugging his shoulders. “But I suppose from the things I’ve seen and heard about him from Ashley and others, that I would want to say one thing to James Franco,” he said. “an you need to take a break, before you run yourself into a rut, you seem to spend all your time working, even when you’ve been here, and it can’t be good for you.” he added. “I reckon there should be rule here, that everyone needs to visit the spa once a week cause I reckon it would help him.”he finished the diary and clapped his hands together. “Right I bid you goodbye,!” he placed his hand on his head and saluted the camera, “And now it is time for me to return to bed, bye,” he said a smile on his tanned face as he walked out.
