The Orico DualDock offers a convenient dual-function performance. It will clone a 2.5"/3.5" SATA drive without a host computer connection, or dock the drives over a USB 3.0 connection for easy access. A push-button allows switching between Clone/Duplicator mode and PC/Docking Station mode.
To clone a drive. As a hard drive duplicator, the DualDock lets you create an exact sector-by-sector clone from one hard drive to another, including partitions and boot sector information - ensuring data integrity and consistency for sensitive operations such as data recovery.
Note to Clone User 1. Please distinguish the Source Slot (HDD1) from the Target Slot (HDD2). 2. Please ensure that the capacity of the target drive is greater than or equal to the source drive when cloning offline. 3. Flip the switch to "Clone" position, and press the "Start" button 4. The Clone process will begin with the indicator LED flashing; once the LED becomes solid, the process is complete (the dock will also buzz once).
