This fall an art-on-the-road show will travel across America.
No, not that one. We're talking about High Desert Test Sites 2013, the ninth in a series of artist-centric, artist-created festivals. Typically held in and around Joshua Tree, Calif. and organized by artist Andrea Zittel and her merry band, this year's HDTS will take to the open road, traveling from Joshua Tree to Albuquerque, stopping at many points in between.
HDTS doesn't have a corporate sponsor. It doesn't have a big PR machine. It has artists. It needs your support.
How to participate: See the cool video. Check out HDTS 2013's USA Projects page and give what you can! I gave, and I hope you will too.
(Also: Don't miss Andrea Zittel on The Modern Art Notes Podcast! She was the guest on Episode No. 24.)
