hello again. ( sangwoo + yuna )
Oh, right. Sangwoo, at first, had no idea why he set his phone’s alarm clock to go off at eight-thirty in the morning, not until he read his cousin’s message after dismissing the alarm. He sat up and yawned, then eagerly replied. He was glad that she texted first. After their last exchange, he grew a little worried that she was reluctant to meet with him.
[sms: (cousin) seo yuna] All right! I’ll be there in an hour if that’s okay. See you!
After eating the remaining half of last night’s sandwich and a quick shower, Sangwoo set out for the cafe, wearing a red beanie as he said he would. The air was unforgivingly cold, and he struggled to send a text to inform her he was on his way while he walked as fast as he could. The sooner he could get indoors, the better.
The cafe came into his view in less than fifteen minutes. He entered the establishment a little out of breath and looked around, but he couldn’t tell if any of the employees within sight were his cousin. He decided to just send another text as he took one of the seats. He hoped he looked inconspicuous enough to be able to stay there without ordering anything.
[sms: (cousin) seo yuna] I’m here. I’ll just take a seat somewhere. There’s no need to hurry if you’re busy!
Yuna doesn't even really know what her cousin looks like now; She should have probably gone ahead and looked him up on Facebook, but she really couldn't be bothered as she's logged onto her account for around maybe a total of two times during the last month. Social networking really wasn't her thing, she only had the account because some of her professors would makes group for classes and she had no other choice. And especially now, she didn't really like the idea of old friends and family prying into her everyday business.
She doesn't really have much time to think about Sangwoo as the morning rush overwhelms the staff and she has to help produce coffee after coffee, some of the orders even coming back just because of a simple mistake--which annoys her, because she knows it's not her fault, but the brand new hire's. She keeps quiet though, and does her job efficiently, finally taking a deep breath when the crowd evetually dies down.
The first free minute she gets, she reaches into her apron, and sure enough she finds a message from her cousin. She recalls him tlling her he'd be wearng a red beanie, and her eyes immediately scour the room. It's easy to spot him, a male sitting by the corner alone, with nothing to eat or drink while just looking out the glass windows, a red knit cap covering his hair.
"Hey--" She calls out to her immediate superior and motions with her hand. "I'm taking my break now," she says, smiling and politely lowering her head, before heading out from behind the counter to approach, who she assumes, is her cousin.
"Excuse me?" She asks, sounding tentative as she taps two slender fingers on the surface of the table where the guy was sitting at. "Sangwoo-yah?"
