here's some pics from which i don't happen to know the exact show ... i'm working on finding out because i'm not at all a proper archivist i just do this for fun lol

BUT i do know some stuff about this specific look. to my knowledge, this is mostly if not exclusively from fragility V2.0, particularly the later parts of it. this is around the time where he overdosed as well

and this more popular one from the forestglade festival, 2000/07/08, was taken only a week after

there's some threads abt it on reddit, where people who were around to witness it talk about the fragility tour. someone talked about how when the fragile was released and in the first few shows he'd cut his hair to that nice short fluffy look and seemed a bit more mature, and that 'by spring he was back to this.'

obviously tragedy and suffering is not all there is to it. it's also just a cool and iconic stage look, and since it is kind of difficult to find any interviews where they actually discuss this look (or maybe i haven't looked hard enough) it being related to his state at the time is just an observation i gathered from what people have had to say about this tour and the specific timeframe these pics are from. maybe it has nothing to do with it at all. just my thoughts on it.

which, if anyone actually has more information about it or knows of an interview where this look is actually discussed pls send it my way. like i said i'm not a proper archivist i just collect and research for fun, so i love learning new stuff 🙏

it was just fights at school when i was younger, like 13-14 years old, but i did get into them frequently. mostly self defense. of course i was the one who would get into trouble afterwards

nowadays not really. the closest i got to being in a fight was actually at the nin show i attended on 6/29, but it was very one sided because i was the only one who was actually annoyed and the other party was more than likely just wasted and having a good time lmfao
