:D HE BROUGHT BIRTHDAY GIIIIFTS! or, okay, he gave Ed an address to come get them himself, he's not THAT generous. Jerome's gift for him is none other than a warehouse full of hostages. He advertised it as an escape room attraction, but nobody told the guests that the 'traps' inside are ACTUALLY lethal. Ed will be offered a key to the control room, where he can have as much fun with them as he would like ( while Jerome gets away with all the ticket revenue ;3 ) Happy puzzling! @stagekiller
Would he have followed the clues if he knew for certain that it came from his beloved Jerome? Most likely, his curiosity got the best of him. When he sees what it seems an escape room attraction, Ed is cautious — it’s much close to his actual interests to be a gift from Valeska — but once he sees the hostages inside and figures out what he is supposed to do...he huffs ❝Huh.❞ he grins lightly. This is much more entertaining than I thought it would be. Now he should not let these innocent people died, but...well, who is to judge? Besides, he can modify this little game to his liking; he shall tell everyone what is actually happening and whoever wants to can leave. But if they leave, they will not get the grand prize. He would bet that most of these idiots would stay because of it, even if they didn’t know what that price was.
