van’s tldr for the  W I N T E R   B A L L

or more like, ‘what’s been going on with cassie & van?’ the saga

under the impression that cassie was lying about her identity the entire time he knew her, van’s been too upset to speak with her

in fact, every chance she tries to corner him, he panics and makes a hasty and embarrassing exit

so:  the night of the ball, he bumped into her yet again, her patience with him running dry

honestly... he really thought about just giving up and caving. trying to keep a professional face on is wearing at him

but he’s determined, okay?

long story short, cassie is rightfully pissed with him but van has made yet another daring escape! good times :)

then he hid near lua for the remainder of the night the end
