I love how subtly Sebastian is trying to damage the relationships between Downworlders and Shadowhunters. He is excellent at reading and manipulating people. He planted doubt in Jace's mind as to whether he could really move on from Clary or not, directing his thoughts away from Maia. He jumped on Raphael's insecurities about his and Izzy's past (which were valid, but not a relationship deal breaker, imo) and caused him to reject Isabelle's advances. He manipulated Luke, using his hurt and need for vengeance, to try and isolate him from the Shadowhunters. I like his sneaky evil ways. It's cool to know he's shady and watch how he so totally fools the Shadowhunters into trusting him. He's got Clary, Izzy, and Jace all opening up and revealing their vulnerabilities without even realizing it.

Now I can't help but wonder if Host keeps a database of quotes on the other Egos the way I do on Mark.

The Host gestures towards a collection of tomes to the left of his desk. “Hard copies,” then he gestures to his laptop. There’s an entire folder labeled for each Ego, “Electronic copies.” He takes a sip of his tea. “When one lives with a bunch of raving lunatics, it comes in handy to have hard evidence of what they said and when.”
