Transformers Prime Wars/ Titans Return/ Generations
Deluxe class
Repugnus & Dastard
Repugnus was an Amazon exclusive, and the third, and final Monsterbot of Transformers Classics/ Titans Return toyline.
The one that I got was packaged in a pretty beat up box, and I believe it was a return...I hope it’s not broken to hell... LOL!
Repugnus did get a Titanmaster class figure during the Titans Return line, but this is a deluxe class version.
Along with the a titanmaster, Repugnus is also packaged along with a Primemaster, Solus Prime
Prime Master:
Solus Prime is one of the 13 original Primes, and transforms into a Matrix core. Not much to say about this figure really. The figure is pretty much the same as any other Prime Master, but much of the plastic is translucent blue with gray paint apps painted overtop. It’s nice for what it is, I guess.
Titan Master:
Dastard is Repugnus’ Titanmaster partner, and again much like the Prime Master what else can I say about a Titan Master? It’s well painted, and for what it is it’s nicely detailed.
Let’s move on.
Beast Mode:
Repugnus is a yellow and red robo-bug monster, and my god it’s wonderful! The basic frame of Repugnus is the exact same frame as Grotusque, and Twinferno; the main differences are the appendages and the paint deco.
Dastard, the Titan Master sits in a cockpit literally within the belly of the beast...mode.
The weapons look like bug wings, and store on the back of the robo bug, and it looks good.
The robo bug head it mostly domed with translucent green eyes, gray pincers, and an open/close jaw.
The robo bug has two hook-like stingers which has its own shoulders, elbows, with ball joint/hinge at the elbows, and the stinger articulates too.
the hips and knees are the same as the other two Monsterbots.
Transformation:
Transformation is pretty simple; there’s nothing really too complicated about it.
The Titan Master of course folds into a head, and it placed atop the shoulders as well.
Robot Mode:
Robot mode is awesome!!! Again we’re dealing with the same core frame as Twinferno and Grotusque, but it amazes me with the changes of the appendages it all makes a new robot.
As in robot mode Repugnus stands up straight, and is slimmed up a bit.
The bug arms fold up to become the robo-pecks, and there’s not a lot of kibble aside for the bug head becomes the back pack, but it looks good. It’s clean.
Even the weapons can be stored by pegging them onto the shoulder blades, and that looks good too!
Repugnus’ head sculpt is okay. I can’t say I’m a huge fan of it because the eyes are too small, and I’m just don’t like that. I think I prefer the Repugnus head from the previously released Titan Master version.
Accessories:
I’m not counting Dastard, or Solus Prime as accessories but Repugnus does come with two short swords. They’re clear green plastic with red paint apps.
In beast mode they become the bug wings, and in robot mode they’re short blades.
They also combine into a sled, or something so the Titan Master can ride in it....which is stupid...
The blades do look good...from certain angles. The attachments and pegs are all on one side of the blades so the illusion is kind of ruined when you look at the blades from other angles.
Final Thoughts:
Overall I love Repugnus. I was hoping for a deluxe version of him, and hasbro did not disappoint.
My only issue is that Amazon was charging $30.00 for this figure; I got him for $15 because I guess this was considered damaged goods.
The toy’s not damaged; only the box was.

Well it happened, I found a Titans Return headless body at thrift. Luckily I had a spare Titan Master to put on him. Now all I need is a name? Perbrawler? Brawceptor? Brawlscope? Percepal?
