Has anyone thought about why Prince Average wears gloves? Probably because he doesn't want to touch anything commoners do, right? Because he places himself above everybody, right?

But what if that's not the case?

What if he's hiding scars or a birthmark? Perhaps he's trying to conceal the fact that his arms are not the usual flesh, but wood, crystal or something else? Maybe his hands have been stained by dark magic or there's a symbol meaning he is part of a specific good or evil group on his skin?

After his failure to capture Red shoes (Snow White) to be his birthday party quest, Regina offers him and his goons the most suspicious of fruits. When he takes a bite out of the apple, he doesn't remove his now very dirty gloves. So clearly, it's not a germaphobe thing. Perhaps it's not even the "don't touch anything commoners touch" thing.

Sometimes clothes are just clothes but no-one can stop headcanons.

Headcanon: Clint and Sam love haunted houses. It isn't hard to talk Tony into sponsoring and helping to build an Avengers haunted mansion for the public one year.

And they find out some very interesting things about how the Avengers handle haunted houses:

Thor, the big goof, loves them

he thinks they’re hysterical

Tony screams like a little girl at clowns

Seriously. homeboy doesn’t fuck with clowns

Bruce isn’t allowed inside, that’s a given. nobody needs a code green on halloween

Natasha thinks the whole thing is hilarious, especially when clint and tony freak out. she spends most of the time laughing at them

cap pretends to be chill but bucky ends up carrying him through most of the haunted house and he has nightmares for days afterwards
