I was in love with what I had, and the feeling in the pit of my stomach reminds me of it daily. I know that the feeling will subside. However, until then I will process every emotion until I have nothing left. ___ I realize some do not understand this process and would prefer that I keep it to myself. My question to you is where's the authenticity in that decision? It's far to easy to act like I'm okay and everything is okay when it's not. I know it's expected to get over it and heal in private because everyone wants happy and positive content on social media. __ That's not my space nor what I want to convey. For the most part, I am a happy person. I will always deal with the negative aspects of my life. I am not one of those content creators that make you believe my world is beautiful and all is well because that is far from the truth. I understand if you chose to unfollow me because I am "negative." I will be sorry to see you go. At the same time, I do understand that you have to do what's best for you. __ I am currently attempting to process my feelings to get through the pain and frustration instead of burying my feelings. I've spent too many years "sucking" it up that I vowed never to do that again. __ I hope someday people will understand that being honest with yourself and others is better than appearing to have it all together when you're really in pieces. For now, this is my state of mind. It won't be this way forever.
