This Easy Chicken Stir-Fry is a quick and delicious Chinese-inspired dish that's better than takeout. It's loaded with colorful vegetables, tender chicken, and a savory sauce that brings it all together. Perfect for a busy weeknight dinner!
Ingredients: 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced. 1 red bell pepper, sliced. 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced. 1 cup broccoli florets. 1 carrot, julienned. 1/2 cup snow peas. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. 1 tablespoon cornstarch. 1 teaspoon sugar. 1/2 teaspoon ginger, grated. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooked rice for serving.
Instructions: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and grated ginger. Set aside. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add sliced chicken and cook until it turns white and is no longer pink, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add more oil if needed and stir-fry the bell peppers, broccoli, carrot, and snow peas for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender but still crisp. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and pour the sauce over the ingredients. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the sauce thickens and coats everything evenly. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the chicken stir-fry over cooked rice. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Enjoy your homemade Chinese-inspired chicken stir-fry!
