My brother texted me "Have you heard?" but my phone was dead and I missed the message until now, so I responded because I've "heard" nothing, but he's not responding now...

I'm so freaked out...what haven't I heard? Is everything/one alright? Did someone die? Did he and his gf get back together?

There's a whole spectrum of things that it could be and I know nothing.
