[HEART404] Chapter 0.5 Rough:

This is S.U and they're very happy to meet you! :)

S.U is a standard , unremarkable, unspecial and very well behave Android in the world of HEART404. They have no gender , no personality , no dreams , no wants , no feelings and are always ready to please.

Like many androids S.U has been owned , broken , gutted , fixed , dismembered , reassembled , had their memories wipped and motor functions completely shut up several times but like always they were sent back to manufacturing and repurchased by another human looking for a companion or cheap labor. Unlike Nephele and Dane who's core processor is the illegal and banned "Humanoid Thought Projector" which functions as a soul allowing androids the ability to express and experience emotions standard droids like S.U dont have one. Their processor is a government mandated piece that's connected by default to a government data base. This allows the government to track and prevent "malfunctions" like Dane and Nephele (I.E: they can't express or "feel" genuine emotions. Any attempts to are futile)

They are in a constant state of disassociation. Its almost like they know something is missing but they dont know why they feel that way. What's it mean to "feel" anyways¿

Doodling Dane out of drag. He's always grumpy and moody when he's not in drag. He thinks the world is less whimsical but he likes that Nephele calls him handsome so it's an win lose I guess

@me-beef has been so goated helping me with my comic and i finally figured out how to explain how the androids work and what HTP are/means. I feel like I don't talk about my work enough so im gonna start.

I wanna draw some charts to explain it with visuals since I think thats more engaging!

Obi and his big stupid muscles 🥛🧪 [HEART404 Lore dump]

Obi is an amateur inventor apprentacing under a dishonored formal government scientist. Hes a brilliant inventor and a potential disendent of the alchemist who had created the androids over 500 years ago but isn't aware of it. He's extremely kind and empathetic to all things. He even cries when he kills bugs and takes great efforts to think of other people's feels. He's considered extremely odd to most people in their society because he treat android like humans. Often repairing them for free in the run down shop he works and runs thats full of obscure parts and pieces. He basically has an encyclopedic knowledge of HTP parts from the mechanical side of their build due to just how many androids hes tickered with and fixed. He has a companion names Knick-Knack , a little chinchilla with a tough personality he once found in an old junk shop who he now carries with him everywhere. When Obi can't find the courage to speak up and jump head first into a situation Knick Knack is probably there to throw him head long into trouble. He became very close with Dane , a rare case where Dane found a human he trusted after being abandoned. He taught Dane how to modify himself and proved Dane with books to help him learn to read and write. He cares deeply for Dane like a little brother would. Nephele is intimidated by him though mostly because he's so jacked and Nephele is used to being scared and cautious around humans.
