This song is like another world for me.

When I listen to it, I feel as though everything around me; all my thoughts and troubles just fade into the darkness, and I'm left with a clear view of everything.

Funny how one little song can do big things.

Just finished watching Mysterious Skin. Probably one of the saddest movies I've watched. On the whole, the film deals with homosexuality, drug abuse, violence and Brian's belief in being abducted by aliens. It can be little hard to watch because somewhere out there for some people, this is actually reality.

The film is about the way we magnify people when we’re in love—walking down the street feeling like we’re floating, hence the slow motion, the music, the costumes, the colors. A lot of people said it was a case of style over substance, but being in love is often a case of style over substance.
