POV: Barnaby asks for belly rubs
One time, Wally found his best friend Barnaby sitting by the tree. He had a bad tummy ache from eating too many hotdogs.
Wally thought the best way of sympathy was to have the same problem as him so he wouldn’t be alone. So he ate a bunch of apples and gave himself a bad tummy ache.
Welcome Home language
Good morning —> The sun is up, and so are we
Goodnight —> Rest those colors
Thank you —> You’re as sweet as pie
Let’s celebrate! —> Let’s make a merry mess!
I don’t like that —> That’s not my color
I’m happy —> My colors feel bright
I’m sad —> I feel gray
I’m angry —> My gears are grinded
I’m jealous —> Their colors are brighter than mine
I’m anxious/nervous —> My butterflies are flapping too much
That’s not very nice —> That’s not very neighborly
Happy Holidays —> Happy Homewarming
I love you —> You’re the apple of my eye
Sad tummies
Comfort from anxiety
“Don’t worry neighbor. Your breathing will slow down. Just follow the rhythm of my tummy.”
I made a Welcome Home bead jar :3

Hope you like it ^^
Little headcanon that recently came to mind:
Wally has a small heart sewn to his tummy. It glows a certain color with the emotion he feels.
Happy - soft yellow (feels safe, loved, or playful)
Sad - pale blue (feels down and icky. Gentle, trembling glow — like a quiet rain cloud)
Hungry - orange (feels empty — not just for food, but for warmth, company, or care)
Hurt - deep red (physical or emotional hurt. Pulsing, uneven glow)
Sick - dull green (feeling off, queasy, or unwell. Dim, unsteady glow — discomfort and imbalance)
Anxious/Nervous - purple (uneasy, jittery, uncertain. Flickering or wavering glow — like a heartbeat trying to stay steady)
Love - pink (warmth, joy, deep affection. Soft, bubbly glow — expresses connection and care)
Sleepy - lavender (Calm, relaxed, ready for rest. Faint, soothing glow)
