So, I decided to draw one of my favorite cars, the Ford GT to test my skills. I consider myself to be a Christian artist and I haven't really drawn anything outside of God has given me in a vision in a while. So, I saw some youtube vids of this great artist doing cars and it inspired me. I wanted to make sure I could still draw lines,colors, detail and so forth. It also helps with patience. Holy Ghost Inspired Business

PRaise the Lord Jesus Christ Everyone!  Truly I give honor to God for EVERYTHING in my life.  Whether good or bad, whether hard or soft, whether I can stand it or not, God truly deserves every bit of glory and honor.  

So, like most successful entrepreneurs, we all have a story of how our beginnings happened.  My story is about how HEartHeaven (Heart, Earth, Heaven) was given to me.  There’s an old gospel song that goes, “I owe it all to the Lord/ Everything thing that I have, Jesus gave it to me/ I owe it all to the Lord.”  I truly do.

I’ve always wanted to have my own business.  I remember growing up always talking about being a huge artist/graphic designer.  I also used to talk about owning my own t-shirt shop with my own designs on them. 

Shooting many years forward, and shortly into my salvation, God was giving me many visions.  One day, I woke up and God had given me three words; heart, earth, heaven.  When the words were given to me, I didn’t have to think about them.  They made perfect sense.  Even the order of the words made sense.  You have to use your heart to get off Earth into Heaven.  WOW, what a revelation!  

So, then God began to talk to me.  ”Put the three words together,”  He said.  I merged the three words.  After merging them, God began to make me think.  I had to draw it out and color code the words so that each one would stand out.  Red would be for the Heart (You know, blood, living creature, life, the blood Jesus shed on the cross —- You get the point.), green for Earth and blue for Heaven.  So, it took me several days before I actually drew this logo but I was at work when I finally put it to action.  

I only had a pencil to work with, no colors at the time.  So I thought, “How can I make the words stand out?”  And it came to me.  I’ll just capitalize the initial letter of each word and darken them in with the pencil.  I wrote HEartHeaven.  With the first “H” and the “E” capitalized and darkened, the word “art” stood out before the “H” in Heaven.  It read, HE art Heaven meaning He IS Heaven also the word “art" smacked me in my face.  Since I’m an artist, it all made sense.  The first thing that came out my mouth was, "Wow, God just gave me the name of my business."  I was in awe.  

For many years, God had been dealing with me coming into what His plan is.  My art skill was a God-given talent.  Besides being self-taught, when I got older, I worked at FedEx Kinko’s where I learned most of my knowledge about printing and design.  He even allowed me to be Senior Project Coordinator and then Lead Print Operator for another company. 

I registered my business in October of 2013 and opened up my online custom Christian graphic clothing and accessories store in May of 2014.  Before God had given me the name to my business, I had already been in business receiving commission for artwork and book illustrations and more.  God just made it official by giving me the name.  The ideas for how I really want to run my shop are forever changing because I’m limited with all that I can do being that I don’t have a storefront.  I’m also far from being a millionaire (YET), nor are sells barely reaching an inch off the ground, but the journey is most definitely worth it.  All the experience I’m getting and the knowledge and wisdom I’m acquiring running my own internet business is truly rewarding.  I thank God for my business (the business He gave me).
