I’m actually obsessed with the structure of the movie being just like the comics. The fact that that we follow the other characters only as much as Nick and Charlie do, is PERFECT. I know some people are dissapointed in it, but I was nervous about the shorter runtime of a movie and I’m glad it feels as if we still got a full seasons worth of Narlie content without the other storylines taking up too much of the screen time. I love the other characters and I wanted to know what happened to them but narlie are just objectively my favorite part of the show and the more screen time they get the better. The way it played out was ideal.
