Oh my god. SPN just made me cry for the first time. Jo and Ellen gave up their lives for Sam and Dean to get a shot at Lucifer. It's one thing to go into a battle and know you may die, like all battles. To die in combat. It's another to completely know you are going to die, to give up your life, sacrifice your self with no way of getting out, to do the good thing.
