The good stuff.
During the last few days I’ve been making some research for a short story and something struck me that I haven’t been able to shake, so enjoy it with me. The imperials, nibeneans especially, are the real successors of altmeri and ayleid ways! Obsessed with overly complicated word/names and ceremonies to the point they are rendered obsolete. Great at shaping their society and lens of morals based on religious teachings but in the end not really fanatic enough to abandon their political goals. Sharing an almost mer-unique quality of using world shaping magic post-Tower erection. They share a solid sense of arrogance yet the elves develop it with more knowledge and experience making the imperials essentially like stubborn teens. (Sadly I haven’t been able to find the originator of the screenshot. Holler at me if you happen to know whomst I shall credit.)
Sticking Around...
Hey Heartlanders, just wanted to drop a quick message to let y’all know that this blog will be continuing on as a Heartland blog! Thanks for following, and get ready for Season 13! Only a month and a day to go!! - Liz
PS - I was actually thinking of changing the name of this blog - any heartland-y suggestions for me?
As Amir wades in the lake
Rupert: Uh, Amir? Uh what are you doing?
Amir: You do swim, do you not?
Rupert (trying not to stare and failing): Oh, I swim. Pretty boy. Pre-pretty buoyant. Buoyant. Pretty buoyant. I’m pretty-pretty buoyant.
Okay. I’m calm. Whatever it is. Stay calm. Don’t get overexcited.
Rupert: I’ve never felt this way about anyone. I want to do something for him, but what?
Chamberlain: Well, there’s the usual things. Flowers, chocolates, promises you don’t intend to keep.
Look all I’m saying for season two, Kevin, is you have Noah freaking Galvin and Ari’el Muthahuggin’ Stachel.
