Sooo regarding robot!chris and nerd!reader, how did she come up with the idea to try and create a human like robot? Because of loneliness or just to test out something that could be revolutionary ?

Robots are kinda a big deal and if you can build one especially a human like one then she had to get some attention on her or is she keeping him a secret?

-Okay so nerd!Reader has some kind of obsession with junk parts and electronics because her dad is a scientist for a huge electronics company. She built robot!Chris in her basement for fun and had no idea what would happen when her house got struck by lightning. Basically, the electricity send a shock through his parts and brought him to life. Full fic coming soon.

-Nobody knows Chris is a robot apart from nerd!Reader. Since her dad is always at work and her mom lives in another continent because of their divorce, she’s usually home alone and her dad has no idea that robot!Chris exists. But Chris does interact with other humans all the time, they just don’t know he’s actually a very human-passing piece of technology.

Now we got ideas for stalker!reader backstory since we did matt alreadyy, since you mentioned that her parents out of worry for her sent her away to get better I assume she had a pretty peaceful and loving childhood, her parents providing all of the toys and stuff she could have wanted as a kid and helped her play for her college tuition and pay off student loans since you mentioned that she went to college, basically very opposite from what Matt went through as a child but since her parents most of the time probably were away and working hard to get her anything she wanted at any time she was left alone a lot of the time and discovered the internet at a pretty young age, really getting into like coding and computer tech shit and discovering how to stalk other people and find out information, with all of the knowledge she had and the possibilities when she got older she decided to do it as a side hustle to earn money on her own and not leach off her parents for the rest of her life and know what hard work means so she doesn’t grow into those entitled bratty girls who call daddy for help if they ever get into a mess they can’t clean up themselves, and now that she moved to that part of Boston and met Matt she immediately became infatuated with him and fascinated with how innocent he seems but feels a strong feeling that he could possibly be hiding one thing so that’s why she asks so many questions, to find out what he is hiding from her as she actively searches high and low, deep and shallow to find anything, even tho Matt is a goody two shoes he really kinda is a mysterious one

I imagine kinda goody two shoes!matt to have a bit of a scarred past and childhood idk why but I think maybe like parental problems and he had to watch his parents fight as a little child and made a promise or himself he would never hurt anyone like his parents hurt each other physically nor with words since he was a child and pretty innocent and not really understanding why they would fight, he doesn’t talk about it since he refuses to ever and even with all of the questions coming from stalker!reader he just makes up stuff if he needs to, to avoid any other rising questions but maybe since stalker!reader is pretty good at finding out stuff she could possibly stumble upon such info in some way and confront him about it??

Idk why I think this, it’s maybe because of how I love to write scarred and traumatic passes behind any character 😽
