Of course, I'm concerned by the outcome, but I've resolved to deal with these difficulties as they come. While there is a sense of powerlessness I am being as proactive about my situation as possible. I'm doing the leg work and the brain work to make things doable as possible. Here's my GoFundMe link if you care to donate: gf.me/u/br2hiu Hi everybody, it's with a certain amount of constirnation and trepidation I'm going public and looking for financial help from a pretty serious health issue in my life. I like to keep things positive and be really engaged with things but this is going to be a big challenge for me over the next few months. You may have noticed my photo work slowing down over the last month and this is the reason for my lack of activity. I had an angiogram on the July 18th, the day after my birthday. This put a damper on my birthday for sure! Open heart surgery has been recommended to keep me from having a stroke or heart attack by my doctors. I've been on blood thinners to minimize the effect of the blood the clot on my heart. Surgery will be early next month in September from what the surgeon has told me. A specific date hasn't been set yet. Thankfully, my friends have shared stories of their own and offered comfort as I'm going forward with this process.
