Winterfest with the family! Phoenix has a way of celebrating that Whitney's not too happy with.
Heather stopped by to visit Phoenix's bakery and of course ended up next door in Vivienne's tattoo shop.

Beginning (Plum)
Dove has reached level 10 in both singing and parenting! (I forgot to snap a photo of the level 10 singing notification). She's basically done with the grey generation--all that's left is to marry a neat sim, and she's got that set up for her to finish later. Way to go!
The plum gen can now begin in earnest...

Goodbye Finch :( Dove breaks the news to Thistle. It's hitting everyone hard. Heather even comes to Thistle for some big sibling comfort.
Thistle's family hung out for a bit after the party ended. It was a really sweet little family moment :,) Alric went straight for the cake too.

Winterfest celebration at the ranch! Thistle wants Whitney to rest instead of cook, but Whitney insists on helping in the kitchen. Actually, doing most of the cooking--she's just so good at what she does! The family gets together for the first time in a while. Heather brings her girlfriend, Maren, to meet the crew. Dove and Erin's twins also aged up into teens a little bit ago. I never really got the chance to post about them since Thistle was busy with other things--but here they are! Iris (left) and Periwinkle (right).
Fun fact: my original plan was to have one of Dove and Erin's kids be the heir because I knew that with their combined genetics their kids would be gorgeous, but then the game bestowed me with genius child Thistle through the wishing well and I knew straight away that this kid was going to be my heir. Periwinkle and Iris are really cute, though! I'll try to invite them over more.
