Indian Summer

I'm trying to read a few chapters I'm required to make notes on - The Art of Writing Fiction, Andrew Cowan - but it is so.freaking.hot. I have my fan on, window open but still our flat is migrating its way to the laundry room with its tiled floors and lack of windows simply because it's less than 28 degrees in there. I'm Welsh for heavens sake! I'm used to rain! Literally had to cycle to Norwich yesterday to hit the charity shops and nab myself some more skirts and a pair of sandals so I'm not attempting to wear boots and trousers in this weather. 

October, you better cool down a bit please.
