Heavens gate was a new American Religious movement founded in 1974 by Bonnie Nettles and Marshall Applewhite (Known as Do and Ti) Heavens gate is profoundly known for its mass suicides inflicted on the members in 1997. 39 of the members were found covered all dressed in matching black shirts and sweatpants paired with the well known black and white Nike decades after taking a lethal mixture of phenobarbital and vodka.
