Your politics make me not want to give you money
While the rest of the world was wishing Gifford well, mourning the dead, and denouncing the vitriol that encourages such violence, Travis Corcoran, the president of online comics retailer Heavy Ink, put up a post on his personal blog titled “1 down, 534 to go.” Corcoran was, of course, referring to the 535 members of Congress.

I use Heavyink. I've never had any problem with their service and it's handy to have since the nearest comic book shop is in the city.
But this makes me want to take my money elsewhere.
I'm surprised by my own reaction. You can make the argument that his politics don't directly affect his business and a boycott would do more harm to employees than him.
But the sentiments rub me the wrong way and, what's important in this case, there's other options.
This brings up a topic on a similar vein; but lets switch out assclown business owner with an artist.
Can a mediocre artist's work be redeemed with his/her politics and more importantly, can a great artist be dragged down by his/her politics?
