Hecatia’s changing hair colour (3)
Hecatia has blonde hair during 異界「地獄のノンイデアル弾幕」Otherworld "Hell's Non-Ideal Danmaku" spellcard in Legacy of Lunatic Kingdom despite it being an otherworld type spell and not a moon one. Also, during the spellcard, her hair briefly turns red and then shifts back to yellow.
Differently from the thing shown in PART 2 (/post/640329736215789568/), where her hair would suddenly turn red during a moon spellcard if you bombed, this time it happens without you bombing. Switching back to blonde hair occurs through the transition animation.
The nonspell preceding this spellcard has Hecatia with red hair and when the spellcard begins, her hair switches to yellow, but it has the correct transition animation. You can notice in the gif below, which is slowed down, that she only switches the otherworld and moon globes on her head. The earth globe remains unmoved in her left hand.
This makes me think that her hair turning red at the end of the spellcards, as shown in PART 1 (/post/152122137934/) is not an intended thing. At the end of an earth spellcard her hair will change from blue to red instantly. But when the next attack begins, her hair will turn blonde, with a transition animation that has blue-green hair. So again, if you switch from red to yellow, like in the gif above, you go through orange too, not blue and green, like in the gif below.
This gif is slowed down as well, in order to see the frames better. Notice the otherworld globe on her head suddenly turning into the earth one, meaning this transition animation should have been from when she had blue hair. This would also explain the blue and green tint in her hair. From blue to yellow, it’s expected to go through green.
