i obviously don’t know the exact reason why he’s not attending the smosh panels this year, but i imagine it’s the same reason why he’s taken a step back from being in content in general.///

That's my thought too. He hasn't really been active on camera in 2025 and so it makes sense for him to maybe step back. I honestly wonder if he's stepping back in general or if his main job now is behind the scenes. He used to prioritize his work so much above all else and maybe he wants to change that now. Could be for his mental health, could be for a relationship, or it could be just because he doesn't feel like it. Either way I hope we get good content from both Smosh and him.

All those reasons make sense. He has been doing this job since he was a literal child himself and he has talked about all the ways it has negatively affected him. Him chosing to be more behind the scenes could be temporary or it could be permanent. We're all just hoping he's doing better these days.

Did Anthony used to attend Vidcon every year?? Even before he bought Smosh back?

We know he went the last 2 years. But is it weird that he isn't going to the meet and greets and panels this year??

he attended every year from 2010 to 2019. vidcon was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 bc of covid. it came back in 2022 and i know he didn’t attend that year for whatever reason.

so i guess the answer is no bc he missed one before the buyback. i obviously don’t know the exact reason why he’s not attending the smosh panels this year, but i imagine it’s the same reason why he’s taken a step back from being in content in general. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Do you think Anthony will attend vidcon this year? The pictures posted where they talked about vidcon didn't include him. Only Ian, Chanse, Angela, Amanda, Shayne, Courtney, Arasha, Olivia, Tommy and Spencer.

Anthony wasn't included. What do we think?

historically, only those included in the group photo that smosh submits to vidcon are confirmed to be attending the panels and meet and greet.

however, vidcon confirmed that anthony will be attending the vidcon hall of fame induction ceremony along with ian and a bunch of other og youtubers.

so yes, technically anthony will be at vidcon. but unless something changes at the last minute, he won’t be at their panels and meet and greet, and will only be attending the hall of fame ceremony.

Did he really used to comment on other girls' IG posts, and he deleted them? I didn't see any of them. When did that happen?

yes. you might’ve not seen them bc the girls weren’t like “famous” public figures or anything. he did it right after his breakup with mykie, from january until around march.

Does Anthony really delete posts that often?? I remember he deleted all the Mykie stuff, and some other personal stuff when they bought Smosh back, but does he delete for no reason??

We've noticed that he seems to have stopped deleting everything pretty recently. Mostly this year, but sometime after his breakup with mykie, he began clearing everything on every platform. Not just Mykie stuff. He cleared out his entire Instagram and Twitter pages, began privating videos on his yt channel (deleted all community posts on it too before a certain point), he would delete ig stories/posts only a few hours after being posted, and we've even noticed he deleted most of his comments from Mykie's/other girls’ ig posts.

The Youtube purge was way before his official merge with smosh, so it seems unlikely to have been the reason. Sometimes, after enough posts had built up on his Instagram, he'd go through and remove many of them. However, it seems he may have just archived those posts rather than fully deleted because he has brought back previosuly deleted posts before. We're unsure why many of those posts, videos, and comments were deleted. Some were understandable (like stuff about his exes), but most were completely harmless and we're confused as to why he took them down. He seems to be in a better mental space now and that seems to be why the random purges have stopped, but just to be safe (with a passionate dislike of lost media) we keep his socials updated on here.

Do you usually post stuff or discuss the relationship status of Ian and/or Anthony??

not really bc that's not the purpose of this blog, though we're absolutely not against speculation and theorizing! we're only here to archive ig stories and other social media posts that involve ian and anthony, especially given that anthony looooves deleting posts. there are several other blogs on tumblr that like to discuss their relationships so i suggest you give them a follow.
