Among the celluloid acetate negatives found in this weekend’s mystery box was this one from Hector’s House! Probably the first TV I remember, this children’s show was a French production (La Maison de Toutou) revoiced for a British audience. First broadcast in 1968, the main characters were Hector the dog (Toutou), Zsazsa the cat (Zouzou), and Kiki the frog. Hector always tries to help his friends but they keep playing tricks on him to teach him a lesson, leading to his catchphrase “I’m a Great Big .... Old Hector.” #hectorshouse #lamaisondetoutou #celluloidacetatenegatives (at London, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8G_XqDHKCE/?igshid=xsaw9g747o3r
