Ok I KNOW I said I'd get back to asks- and I will!! But I really had to share this boi first ;u; I made him for a homebrew Monster of the Week game!
His name is Hedgeinald, he's a sentient collection of foliage, fabric/paper materials, and the chopped-off head of a cane shaped like a dragon's head (he uses the other end of the same cane as an actual cane). Hedge is a part-time stage magician (with actual magic shhhh), and part-time collector and trader of non-sentient goods and decor.
Plot twist below the cut vvvvvvvvvv
The body and head are a facade- he's actually the ring, sentient and controlling the mass of materials, and capable of shapeshifting it into different configurations that suit his needs. As a Book of the Monstrous character, his Curse is that damage sustained to him can make his construction unstable, and reducing him down to 0 Health causes him to fall apart and be unable to move until he heals. Hedgeinald must get more materials somehow to fix his body or craft a new one, and until then he's completely dependent on others to move him around. He guards this information zealously, because it's a huge vulnerability he can't avoid, and feels his home- full of valuable knickknacks and goods- would become a massive target if word were to spread of his Achilles' heel.
Brain rot for the Monster of the Week game while I work on ask responses! Drawn in the adorable tiny notebook a coworker gave me ;u; Forgot the paper bits that make up part of his left leg, but w/e it fits his canon of 'not always looking quite the same' :)c
