It was a usual thing for Jim to leave to do business in London. He had multiple homes in the greater UK area, and then the one he shared in Baltimore with the good doctor. He had houses and villas strategically placed in Europe for business reasons. When Hannibal had not been able to clear his schedule and come with him this time, Jim had been forlorn but he had gone to take care of business. They had Skyped each other. Some of them had been quite dirty sessions, but they loved each other. They had needs.

However Jim had been able to get things wrapped up earlier than he originally thought. The consulting criminal took care of certain business deals and he decided to return home to Baltimore. But, he didn’t call and tell his darling. Oh no, that would be no fun! Instead, he made an appointment. He wrote a false file for him to study. He gave him a false name. And since he had no secretary except when Jim was around, Moriarty could sit and wait patiently outside his office door. He couldn’t wait to surprise him.

Babet remained unfazed as he heard the door open, continuing to dissect the person laying on the table.  After using a paralytic on his victim, he proceeded to put them on a ventilator to make sure they stayed breathing.  His scalpel traced down their abdomen and when Hannibal entered, one of his gloved hands was moving aside the man’s intestines.  The dentist looked up at Hannibal with a smile, “I didn’t think you’d be home so soon.”
