Just over a year ago, I saw this pic on the local shelter's website and knew this was the Absolute Unit for me:

Turns out he'd just recovered from cleft palate surgery and my dude still had shaved legs and a shaved neck from all the IVs and the feeding tube.

So just over a year out from major surgery and eating through a tube, he's a 20-pound Large Lad who's incapable of staying still long enough for a photo. So here's a pic from a few days ago. Happy adoptaversary, bud!
