WELL, he happily take the cheek pat ( although mildly confused ) ! He honestly wouldn’t know what he would do with himself if Gilgamesh did decide to give him a peck to the cheek. Even if it was nothing more than a chaste affection, his heart probably wouldn’t be able to handle it. So with that, maybe Ritsuka was going to try to test his luck by leaning over to return the gesture with a gentle pat to the cheek just the same. Here was to hoping that Gilgamesh wouldn’t fault him too much for that.
