“We’re going to run errands today.”
Myles was at his door in a bit more fancier dress today; frames on the bridge of his nose lined in a clear opalescent stone, the cufflinks on his white shirt a glint of sapphire, and a snake of a ring about his pointer. His normal thick cloak for the woods was replaced by a lighter one with intricate blue embroidery at the hem, and he checked his pockets to make sure he wasn’t forgetting anything.
Then, with a snap of his fingers, the energy in his cottage changes: the windows turn black and the only light being whatever candles were lit or embers in the smoldering fire. When he opened his front door, they were off the main road of an underground bustling street market, witches, creatures, humans alike all shoving past each other to get to where they needed to be. The ceiling was massive, reaching to a point one would think it would echo their voices as stalactites loomed threateningly overhead.
“I have a long list of things I need now that autumn will be coming, and among them, I’ll need your eyes. The woman we’re going to see sells precious magical stones, but she’s lied to me before and I’d like you (he turns his attention towards Taezu) to look at what she has so you can tell me which is the rarest or the most powerful. You... (full attention given towards Mei) can charm her to your hearts content, but if she tries anything, you have my permission to remind her whom you serve.”

I don’t think I've been in an appointment for more than 6 hours. FUCK MY LIFE. Waiting for my name to be called for different things was exhausting af. Well at least I got my interview down and background check over with, so I got my orientation tomorrow in the morning. I hope I get it done to make it in time for FD. *crossing fingers*
