"Cat, I appreciate you, I do, but can you please stop biting my lure's breast?" Maison requested.

Cat stared up at the wall of flesh to think it over, then turned her attention back at the lure to bury her face between his bosoms and resumed biting. While he did love the attention, Maison didn't exactly like the feeling of her teeth gnawing on him. Perhaps eating her could teach her a lesson, but then again she is immortal. She'd only bite again.

Maybe it's for the best that she gets it out of her system, he thought.

Finding Lluvia face down on the pavement isn't that unusual or uncommon, but it still would make some townsfolk worry if they had happen to find her. Wheedle, on the other hand, looked down at her, feeling rather indifferent to the scene, before scooping her up from the ground.

"Do you know what helps with exhaustion?" he asked, which Lluvia knew was rhetorical, so she didn't bother answering. "Resting. Do you want to know what keeps your stomach full? Eating."

"Do you know what help keeps you alive? Money," she returned, in a somewhat light-hearted sarcastic tone. "Do you know what keeps you moving? Working."

Wheedle chuckled, as the two waited for Buddy to open the door to her home, as the feline tends to do somehow, and stepped inside with Lluvia still in his arms. "I see you still have your wit, even when you are tired," he said, as he carried her to her bedroom.

"I only needed a few minutes of rest," she replied, before Wheedle gently placed her down on the large mattress. Lluvia then realized she had lost her hat somewhere, but she can't be bothered to think about where it was at this moment. She will find it again eventually.

"A few minutes to an hour, most likely." Wheedle shrugged. "You are incredible, my violet-haired friend, but you work too hard for your own good." Once he kicked off his shoes, then shrugged off his jacket to place it on the coat rack that Lluvia kept besides the door, he climbed on the bed to lay next to the farmer.

Lluvia sighed, before slipping off her own boots and glasses, then took off her scarf and gloves. As much as she didn't want to, Wheedle had a point that letting herself relax is a good thing, so she forced herself to strip away the parts that she considers to be a part of her "uniform" when working, before resting her head over his chest.

She tried to fight back the exhaustion that had plagued her, but Lluvia found her eyes growing too heavy, and soon, she had fell into a deep sleep. She hated to admit it, but Wheedle's presence was an oddly comforting one, despite the awful cologne that he likes to drown himself in.

As her chest gently rose and fell with every slow breath, Wheedle ran his fingers through her long purple hair, noticing that it was a little frayed in some parts, and there were some hidden grey strands as well. It was easy to forget that Lluvia is a few years into her thirties at this point, given her baby-face and short stature. Such a shame that she prefers to spend her time working so much for so little, he thought.

But that was always the case with her, isn't it?

Ah well.

Perhaps Wheedle could recommend some products to keep her hair in good condition in the morning, as expensive as they may be. A hard-working farmer like her deserves the best!
