Heinali: live from a bomb shelter

Oleh Shpudeiko, a Ukrainian music composer and sound artist who records as Heinali, will perform a short Ukrainian army & humanitarian aid fundraiser live set in a bomb shelter in Lviv, on the modular system he managed to save.

The patch is loosely based on the XII century polyphonic organa of the Notre-Dame school and earlier medieval polyphony. It is the foundation of his new album Organa he couldn't finish due to the war.

Live from Ukraine is a series of live-streamed concerts featuring Ukrainian musicians performing works of Ukrainian and foreign composers. The project's mission is to encourage the international audience's support of the Ukrainian army and humanitarian initiatives.

Live from Ukraine is a wartime statement on the subjectivity, vitality and resilience of the Ukrainian musical communities.
