#FandesignFanzine FAQ: questions that came up since the last FAQ
1. Has [creator I know] responded to this interest check?
Not to my knowledge, but I could be mistaken as providing usernames isn't mandatory for this interest check.
If you want your mutual, or a creator you look up to, to consider participating in this zine, you are encouraged to share the interest check with them. (There'll still be time to share the registrations with them if you see this late!)
Similarly, sharing the original post or my reminder posts about it to your socials will guarantee more people see them!
(Just like I did for my previous project, I may nudge some people who missed the posts but I know may still be interested. Still, that's limited by my personal biases and the platforms I'm on, so be the change you want to see in the world!!)
2. Are Sinsy and/or Aquestone accepted for this zine?
I would rather keep the zine's focus on commercial synths. I think an exception could be made for Aquestone, which has historically been regarded as permissive towards derivate works, but I wouldn't grant it by default or may suggest keeping it to a background work so as to stay on-focus.
I hope this makes sense! To be completely transparent, my initial idea was to make a zine for Dreamtonics fandesigns (as they are a personal interest of mine), but it made no sense not to expand it to more programs.
Feel free to ask more questions if they come up!

Epitaph is what I consider to be my "first" vocal synth song. While there are songs that were written before Epitaph (Marionette, Marble, Colors, etc.), I wrote them with the intention of someday singing them myself. When I realized my voice was too damaged to make a full recovery, I decided to start writing songs for my utau instead - starting with Epitaph. It was the first song I ever wrote a drum part for, and it was the first song where I put consideration into what I wanted my "sound" as a vocalo-p to be. Epitaph being my first vsynth song is why it was placed at the front of Winter Butterfly (with the exception of its prequel, Hear Me), as well as being the first song/video ever uploaded to my original YouTube channel.
These versions of Epitaph, The Bottom of the Lake, and Hear Me were later released on the demo/B-side compilation Perspective. All of these versions can be found in my 2013 tag.
