I get why Abelard has so much banter devoted to bullying a romance'd Heinrix, when he's stuck with a front row seat to his and the RT's nonsense
depressed man? gimme
I slept with Heinrix and Marazhai's gift was still in the room, so canonically he must be fine with it, right?
Also, bonus:
Yeah... I'm not proud...XD Inspired by this post (@primarchslut)
heinrix/rt colored sketch page comm for @icasticonoclast 🖤🩶
I love that Heinrix is a legit scary person even in the best case scenario where you rein him in every time he wants to torture someone. But romancing him, he never once made my rogue trader feel unsafe.
The journey in-game likely lasted for years. So my rogue trader aggressively flirted with Heinrix for months/years on end at every possible opportunity, and the most he did was empty threats and some handholding.
And when he and Calcazor were going to subdue and intimidate the rogue trader - even though that was really tame compared to what the rogue trader experienced daily and what Heinrix did to people regularly in his line of work - he still felt so bad that our pious boy had to break rules to warn her - and still wouldn't fuck her lol.
If the rogue trader collaborated with the Xenos - Heinrix’s most hated creatures - on Janus, when he was to reprimand her and she in turn, asked for public punishment by him, Heinrix would be stunned at first before the poor guy realised what she insinuated. This showed me that Heinrix had never thought of laying a finger on the rogue trader - in the inquisitional way; can't say about other ways, judging by his great restraint in those moments.
When Heinrix’s friend Emelina had to be killed, my rogue trader was so sick of this Inquisition bullshit that she lashed out, was basically like you inquisitorial agents are all a bunch of heartless dickhead sick fucks (fax).
If you chose the unromanced option, Heinrix would threaten you again for talking ill of His Holy Inquisition. But if you chose the romanced option, Heinrix would basically be like you are probably right :;/
I was never too much of a heretic in my playthroughs (unless we are counting incessantly flirting with an Imperial agent on the job), but it seemed to me that Heinrix honestly did not care to scrutinise the rogue trader for her heresies. He just really wanted her to be safe from the horrors of Imperium’s enemies. It’s funny how he’s capable of flexible thinking here, but not with his own life serving under the Inquisition.
Finally had some time to post a very late wip-Wednesday! I almost never participate in these but finally got around to do it even if it’s ermm Sunday XD Thank you so much @thatzombiecat for the tag <3 if anyone has a wip they want to show consider yourself tagged! :>
