Hiding Up Some Aces in Your Sleeve

Jumping, the young-looking man rushed to the other side of the van that they'd picked up. The redheaded vampiress gunned it, then, launching forward and into the road and main traffic. Behind them, a bank sat in chaos; security guards calling for the authorities and the robbed milling around complaining loudly and giving a description of the man they'd seen taking the money and running out.
In the backseat sat a couple of large sacks full of money. Why the two were robbing a bank, no one would ever know. And that was how they liked it, really. Seeing as they did this a lot.
Their plan was a pretty good one, as well. Eiel would go in by himself, using the little tricks that he'd learned over time to cause distractions. While the people were distracted, he'd knick wallets, purses and the like, shoving them into a smaller bag that he would shove into a bigger bag soon afterwards. He'd then cause a ruckus, make the people think he was armed, and force the clerks to put money into the bags. All of this was done within a few minutes, and once he had enough money to fill three bags, he booked it.
Larei never parked very far, and they'd drive into main traffic for about an hour before pulling off to a warehouse, where they switched cars and switched up appearances.
"Wake me up when we get there?"
"Got it, Bambi."
He felt like he'd barely closed his eyes when they were parking, Larei poking him in the ribs until he whined. "I'm movin' the bags. You change face, babe."
Eiel sighed, nodding and getting out of the van. While Larei went about moving the bags of money into a smaller car, Eiel pulled off his baggier clothes, tossing them into a trash bin and tugging out smaller clothes from the van. He then closed his eyes, let his head fall back, and changed.
Dark hair lengthened, face shifted and changed shape, and his body slimmed and curved until he was she. Shaking out her hands and feet, Eiel grabbed the jeans and boots, pulling both on and tugging a sweater on over her faded black work shirt with a muttered about annoying sacks of fat and flesh.
A pale, chilly hand wrapped around her waist, snug just under newly-appeared breasts as Larei kissed her cheek, grinning. "Ready?"
"I need a bra."
"You'll be fine. And if anyone pulls us over, you can distract them."
"Are you suggesting we perpetuate the sexist culture we live in by using my sexuality as a distraction?"
Larei smiled, linking her arm through Eiel's and dragging the taller woman over to the car. "I knew I kept you for a reason. Where are we gonna hit next?"
"I'unno, where did John Dillinger hit?"
"I thought we were going for a Bonnie and Clyde feel?"
Eiel snorted, rolling her eyes. "Right now that'd be Bonnie and Claudia."
Larei grinned, teeth sharp before she pressed a kiss to Eiel's cheek. "It's got a nice ring to it. Let's go to the next small town and buy you a greasy diner dinner, huh? Maybe we'll head down to New Orleans in the mornin' - I think mardi gras is soon."
"Yes, please - let's earn all the beads we can."
Larei laughed, moving to the driver's side of their car. Eiel slid into the passenger seat after a moment, reclining her seat and closing her eyes. The radio turned on as the engine did, and Larei pulled out of the warehouse and into main traffic once more.
Police would be looking for a white van and a man of Eiel's vague description for weeks, but they would only find the van and some burned up clothes.
As for Eiel, she stuck it out as a woman for a month.
(They had a hell of a time at mardi gras.)
