His arms and wings are outstretched and kept into place by the nails embedded into his palms and the muscle of his plumage. While the lower half of his body is free from such barbaric means of restraining him, his ankles are still shackled to the bottom of the bath of Lilith's blood that he's partially submerged in.
The mortal imprisoning him seems to think that keeping his freshly installed womb appears to think the substance would help his fertility.
Truthfully, Loki's spirit had been strong for quite some time. Even if he himself couldn't cut his captors himself, his tongue certainly tried. But somehow the human in the glasses figured out how to break him- and quickly at that.
As much as the moments alone in fluid drained from his creator's other half, he knows they're better than what the mortal has planned for him.
We'll continue as many times as we need to. We get a proper vessel one way or another.
He's grown so numb from all of the trials, he almost doesn't recognize the body standing atop the orange fluid. But he eventually looks up, and even though the body is different, the soul shines as brightly as ever.
