Islamic extremists rest easy as the EDL implode (again)
How long can the English Defence League continue to limp on under the weight of its incompetence? Last week one of its leaders Kevin Carroll suffered the humiliation of having his FACEBOOK profile hacked. His password (which we suspect was EDL) compromised by hackers, lost the English Defence League control over 450 odd groups including their official fan page. A new page did not see a rush of 88 thousand members to renew their loyalty. Since its re launch it has attracted back approximately 5 thousand die hard fans who have been subjected to reams of boring, inaccurate and uninspiring articles from the internet hate site jihad watch.

No one’s happy. As the original 88 thousand fan page under new control of dissidents pops up to ask Leadership awkward questions about charity money, the responses from Helen Gower are starting to wear thin. Supporters seem to have lost their fevourish loyalty. Even they know collections for charities should not go in to EDL central funds particularly as no one has any access to who holds these funds, how much they are or what they are used for. The perpetual lack of transparency has finally caught the masses attention. When EDLers give their money to a forces homeless charity they expect that to be the destination.
Essentially, The EDL want large, controversial demos where there is shit loads of beer, coke on the coach, support from the public, a good fight with Asians, an outlet for their fears and anger and a half decent shag from an impressed partner when they get home. Instead the have been subjected to dispersal orders, arrests, abuse from friends on their social networking, CONSTANT whining from their regional organisers and grade A bullshit from the top three boys Tommy, Kevin and Guramit. I say Tommy but no one knows where the fuck he is….
With the dramas seeming to never cease, an ongoing internal feud between the Southern divisions and the Northern/Scottish divisions has reached new heights this evening. John ‘Snowy’ Shaw, one of the original central figures of the English Defence League and a popular figure amongst Northern EDL supporters, is claiming to have received a sinister visit to his home on the orders of Tommy and has been assaulted in front of his family.
Right now Northern division members are vowing retribution and the violence between these two groups is set to escalate.

We have learnt from experience never to get too caught up in the moment of these very vocal EDL spats, it’s essentially a massive online pissing contest and whether old football style violence and rivalry is set to engulf the EDL is yet to be known. What we can say is that the EDL is facing a massive, possibly fatal fragmentation which will make unity against its perceived enemy almost impossible.
A rapid EDL statement this evening throws responsibility for Tommy’s inability to run the show firmly at the feet of Snowy, United Against Fascism and us. I don’t remember arrogantly outing a key EDL figure last year and accusing him of theft and treachery, I don’t know the UAF very well but they definitely didn’t single out a northern EDL supporter in the middle of a baying crowd putting his life in real danger. And say what you want about Snowy but he plays the flute like an Angel. Not an EDL Angel on ketamine at the back of a demo coach, a real one. But yeah. Best to blame the commies Tommy. *sigh*
Or maybe it was the IRA who went round Snowy’s house…..
