I found the Genwick tag and I am unstoppable now
So under the cut some more thoughts from me about Genwick ft Helen, a wife who might be dead but still wants you to fuck that blonde man
Also uh mild spice, it's not full on fucking but it very strongly implied
My insanity would start around the time of John Wick movies (early 2014 I believe?) but waaaay before Gray Man (2022) timeline so let's say it's around 2012? Courtland is in Sierra Six program but he is still in his newbie era where he gets sent for missions but doesn't have as much freedom to do whatever he wants and get away with it as he does in later timeline.
So, let's say Courtland/Six is in New York, mission went well and he has down time before the next mission as things need to calm down after his last one he is walking around and exploring the area, enjoying what Florida could never provide when he hears a small commotion.
His training kicks in and he just observed as some clearly young but brash (pot, kettle) gang members are pointing at one women who is just walking down the sidewalk looking a bit nervous, clearly trying to keep it together without loosing it. Deciding that he has nothing better to do he passes by her, just as she 'accidentally' trips and he catches her.
He is perfect gentleman, fake accent and everything as he helps her up, keeping his expression even and keeping an eye out on the danger as he asks her if she has somewhere safe to wait for a pick up from friend or family?
She doesn't but her and her fiance have hotel nearby she was trying to get too? She is thankful but she could take care of it-
Six just gives her charming smile and tells her to lead the way, handing her a phone to call her fiance so he could meet them by the entrance. Maybe the calculating look and dangerous glint in her eyes was just flicker of his imagination as he was still focused on the look out but she takes the phone and starts walking, Six following like a guard dog.
They wall and talk, Six tells her about his agency sending him to close a deal in the big apple and her telling him about her fiance frequent travels and how this was opportunity for them both to go and relax. For Six it's way more then he thought he would ever willingly tell a person but it feels so so good to have this pause it's the chaos that is his life. He also compliments her fiance taste in rings, it's simple yet elegant, the three stones sparkling brightly in the night lights of the city.
When it starts to rain, Six just gives her his suit jacket to cover herself with and they continue to the hotel, even if it was just 10 more minutes away, Six ends up looking like he went for a swim in the river and She looks like she nearly followed suit.
Now Six might have many ideas about the mystery fiance but none of them compared to the real deal.
At a distance, he looked imposing, the certain air that Six was familiar with and yet the stranger wore like second skin, dark eyes darting around, cataloguing everything and not letting anything escape, hands flexings and body poised, ready to leap into action.
The danger danger danger aura around the man quickly dispelled when his eyes landed at the women, not caring at how drenched he might end up, he took her into his arms, holding her closer and checking her over making sure she was safe.
For her part, she was happy to be back in the arms of the one she loves the most kissing and whispering into his ears, the warmth and love making... something burn in Six guts. Not wanting to intrude on the couple any longer, he was about to take his leave when firm hand gripped his arm tightly. It took all of Six training to not react with violence and instead turn to look at them questioningly.
Helen-as he finally found out- wouldn't let him leave like that and John follows whatever she might have to say which like Six would not blame him for. Against Courts better judgment he lets himself get ushered into the hotel. John warm hand splayed at his lower back, firm and unyielding and Helen's gently guiding him towards the elevators.
Court has to blink some of the haze away because yeah fuck that felt way too nice and they barely did anything yet and were elevators always that warm? Shit he might be tracking water-
Anything after that is just noise in Courts head, all he knows that between the elevator and the room he lost his clothes and was told to shower and changed into something warmer which just earned him shower with Helen as he just stood there blinking at them stupidly whilst trying to process what was happening.
He might have thought John would have more objections to such arrangements but clearly he was in some upside down world cause he just pushed them both in there and left the door wide open which might have made him feel better if not for all the embarrassing noises he let out second Helens got her hands on him.
Of course the night progressed in similar fashion, trapped between the unyielding heat and soft touches the firm slaps of skin against skin and well let's say a lot firsts for Court that night.
Even if it was nice to wake up sandwiched between the two, work would always find a way to ruin things, not wanting to break the peace he managed to slip out unnoticed (unsuccessfully but Jardani understood even if Helen pouted for the next few days about it) and hey it was doubtful Six would run into them again right?
Right.
The next few occasions were accidental, believe him but if there was opportunity who was he to deny it?
Be it with them or one on one, the selfish part of him that not even Sierra Program could kill out of him loved the attention, both individual and joined, it was heaven, it was hell and he was in for all of it.
And then the sickness.
And more missions...
Helens funeral hit him, even if he couldn't attend it for long he grieved, still work work work no rest for the wicked and he couldn't afford unwanted attention on the grieving shell of a man John was. At least that's the excuse he gave himself.
He certainly didn't expect to find a familiar ring way too far from home or the ghost that might have been attached to it but he wasn't complaining. At least outwardly.
If Helen's last wish was to give her husband her ring then so be it he will do his damnest to help even if it kills him.
Or well killed someone else.
He stopped loving after that but he knew that they were together now at least, that was enough and he had other things to focus on.
