I know there’s already a “canon” explanation for eclipses in Greek mythology and lore, but I do love the idea of (in epic at least) eclipses and day-moons just being Selene going up to talk to her brother and give him a hug

I got too excited thinking about what EPIC's version of Helios' wives would be and imagining big polyamorous sundad and his wonderful nymph and (minor) goddess wives and i ended up making it my biggest ship board lol
