I was deputized into @mthoodskipatrol today! (Not really, but I did help). @raleigh_who_hoops and I found a veteran yelling for help after accidentally skiing off a trail and hitting a tree at @mthoodmeadows. We stayed with him, and I helped ski patrol get him into the sled, then carried his skis down (thank goodness for my @dakine #helipro pack). The @providenceoregon ER near the main lodge took care of him. Seems like he had a broken wrist and potentially fractured ribs. #mthoodmeadows #skioregon

The 47-second video starts with snow barrelling down a mountain behind a snowboarder, who very calmly (and impressively) manoeuvres out of the way of danger.

But then a tiny white hare apppears out of nowhere and makes a beeline towards the tidal wave of snow.

Obviously panicked and running for his life, the small hare hops, skips, and jumps over the boulders of snow hell-bent on burying him.

The video reaches an intense climax when, more than once, the hare appears to be swallowed by the snow. But just when you think all hope is lost, it resurfaces and surfs along the snowy foam.
