The demon-ghost, showman, dancer. His circle of torture includes eternal fun. The fun is the game of survival, where the prize is a couple of days without torture. Hungry games, dancing to the death, guess the year of mtt’s birth or get a huge hammer on the nuts and all that. Demonic ghosts do not need vessels, they can take any form, pass through walls, fly and quite material at will, but translucent. Mettaton uses human form. He takes true form only if he completely exhausts his strength, only Blooky saw him that way.

So, uh, robot-concept is completely removed, since I felt that it does not fit into the demonic themes…

Engl:  He was a global star. He had played all the musical instruments except the triangle (no one knew why). Nor did he possess a human soul as he was a ghost.

Fr:  C’était une star mondiale. Il s’avait jouer de tous les instruments de musique, sauf du triangle (personne ne savait pourquoi). Lui non plus ne possédait pas d’âme humain comme c’était un fantôme.
